September 8, 2010 - "Old Stairs"
It was fairly dark in this stairwell but with enough indirect midmorning sunlight for an ISO 3600 shot to pick up the different light created tones.
This was shot in old town in Lyon, France. The stairway is in a narrow passage way in a dense area of at minimum 4 story high apartments, The holes in the stairs provide light to the basement area below.
The architecture in the area is 15th century Gothic.
