Built in 1892, the beautifully restored Old Red Courthouse contains some of Dallas County’s most fascinating historical artifacts. n 1966 it was replaced by a newer courthouse building nearby. On December 12, 1976, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

February 26, 2012 - "Timeless Beauty"
I wish I could take credit for more than the post processing of this image. The Old Red Courthouse Museum has a series of large back lighted translucent images mounted against exterior windows on display as you walk a timeline from Dallas Prehistory to 2007. i believe this photo was in the 1946-2007 gallery.
