January 15, 2012 - "The Long And Winding Road"

This was shot from the Irving Convention Center featured in yesterdays post. I suspect that this land will be soon occupied given the opening of the new convention center.
March 1, 2011 - "On The Canal"

This is an example of the architecture found directly along the Mandaly Canal in Irving, Texas. The contextual canal image was posted on February 27.

I have created a gallery of images from this recent photo shoot entitled "Illusions Of Italy" at

February 28, 2010 - "Urban Tree"

The canal in yesterdays post is located below street level with immediate surroundings of Old European styled buildings. When looking beyond the immediate structures, other condos such as this are visible. I was attracted to the simplicity of this tree against the contemporary structure.
February 27, 2011 - "The Canal"

This was shot about two blocks from yesterday's Mustang image post. This series of canals created in the 1980's are surrounded with business and residential strictures built in an European architectural style. Unfortunately, the area never seemed to attract the number of people required to prosper with stores and resturants. It is still a beautifull setting but with minimal sign of activity.

I am sure it makes a great wedding photo shoot location.
