Texas Hot Summer Day
The grass is starting to show the signs of summer heat fatigue.
Waiting For Rain
The lone pottery bowl is placed under the downspout at Ranch de Taos in New Mexico. The diffused late morning sun provided soft shadows to complement the adobe structure.
Ladder To Old World
Dwellings carved into the soft rock cliffs document human presence here at Bandelier National Monument going back over 11,000 years.
Over The Dune
Shortly after sunrise at White Sands National Monument
The light on the grass pulled me to this scene in Jerome, Arizona.
Coquille River Light
Originally named Bandon Light, Coquille River Light was commissioned in 1895. First lit on February 29, 1896, the light guided mariners past the dangerous shifting sandbars into the Coquille River and harbor at Bandon.
The fishing boat crews were arriving as this was photographed into the rising sun at Newport Harbor, Oregon.
Marina Colors III
The color and light were special for this Marina image shot at Victoria, British Columbia.
