January 21, 2012 - "Side Gate"

Our photo walkabout group went on a 125 mile loop drive in North Texas yesterday. I liked the light on the gate of this old bank building in Pilot Point, Texas.

This North Texas winter image was photographed Wednesday on a trail near the shore of Lake Grapevine.

Our walkabout group went on a nature hike on Saturday. This small fellow was hiding deep (450mm in 35mm) in the brush.

January 14, 2012 - "Balanced"

had a very challengng time picking a point of view on this one - nothing seemed to line up

Firefly and I coincidentally put up similar shots today - seen from slightly different shooting spots

January 13, 2011 - "Highlghts"

Our photo walkabout group visited the new Convention Center in Irving, Texas yesterday. It has an architectural style with many different lines and patterns. Our plan to be there at sunset worked out very nicely.
